Oral Hygiene

Oral hygiene is the basis of having the best optimum health of the mouth and it all starts at home! This means that the teeth and gums are always clean, so it will not have future decay and gum disease that will prevent a healthy smile from happening. Good oral hygiene would minimally require brushing the teeth 2-3 times a day and flossing at least once. Other important factors to consider is eating healthy food that does not encourage intake of sugar, and using supplementary sources for fluoride like toothpastes and mouthwashes.
